Our client is an autonomous, £30m UK subsidiary of a major European food group, with a progressive, energised and highly credible senior leadership team. Their mission now is to find an experienced commercial sales expert to bring into the team who will add even more skill to the gene pool of the sales function. The winning formula to this role is bringing enterprise and capability, evolving the relationship with Tesco as one of the most significant customers, with the full support of the business to do so. a stack of scope for growth and category championship.
We are looking for an ambitious sales manager with demonstrable FMCG experience, current grocery account management, preferably on Tesco business already. You will be a credible, engaging person with the hunger to prove your worth, someone who is driven by their early career success and who thrives in the spotlight. You will love the idea of real ownership and empowerment to step change the performance with such an important customer, the challenge and opportunity for growth is all yours. We are looking for a pioneering attitude, with the right experience and skills, to ensure confidence at the customer negotiation table. You’ll be known for your determination to achieve results and stand out from the crowd. Even better if you have some knowledge of the confectionery space and ideally experience in the impulse category.
