To achieve their aim now requires an experienced, grocery sales heavyweight, an entrepreneurial leader with an equal zest for success.
You will already be one of the UK’s top performing Sales Directors, with a stellar track record and reputation in the FMCG grocery sector. In such a critical appointment, you will be expected to bring a refreshed view of latest thinking, sales know-how for a wide and varied customer universe. This will be complemented by a strong voice at the customer table, an obsessive passion for brands and consumerism, not least an intellectual curiosity that inspires others. Above all though, your spirit of adventure will be infectious.
As a Senior member of the Commercial team, your brief will be to lead the development of a purposeful, highly strategic ‘reset’ programme, driving new developments for the market leading, category-busting branded portfolio. The trading environment is tough, only a fearless, hardnosed operator will do. You must have a commanding presence, a streak of creativity when it comes to pioneering a portfolio of mature as well as new brands. Your unstoppable appetite for leading teams will be truly put to use.
