The Future of Work Forum

September 2020
By: Steve Simmance

July saw the successful launch of a pilot forum - The Future of Work, where a select group of senior HR and GM leaders of various organisations were really pleased to join in and participate.  We shared loads and learnt a lot about the common themes employers are facing in the advent of bringing people back to the workplace.

A big thanks to all participants including William Grants, Lactalis, Heineken,  Friesland Campina, Totally Wicked Group, People Against Dirty,  Performance Health and Little Dish.

The forum is all about the Future of Work; the place, new/changing behaviours and psychological shifts in mindset (mental health), the challenges and the opportunities that will start to bring some normality to an ever-uncertain workplace

  • The forum is set up to be a safe place where debate and ideas can be confidentially passed amongst up to 15 participants
  • The format is a 90-mins interactive Zoom call, using breakout rooms for smaller group discussion. The group do come together as a whole for most of the time
  • The forum is facilitated and features guest speakers who talk for a short period of time to inspire and provoke thinking

We are hosting our third Future of Work Forum at the end of November.
