 Salary comparisons with NAEs should be viewed with caution. Those companies who still have direct sales forces, have individuals making up the team either as entry-level graduates, or lifetime career sales people. Those companies with graduate programmes in field sales, consider the NAE level a natural progression to a head office role.
Whilst the salaries appear similar to those of NAE, in fact field sales averages are made up of two very different populations as polar opposites; limited graduate intake, and lifetime career sales ‘high professional’ people.
