New Business Development Manager

Location: Home-based, access to West Midlands HQ
Around £50,000, OTE in excess of £70,000 + benefits

Our client is an independent £25m business, providing beverage mixing and canning capabilities to some of the largest consumer brands and own-label suppliers in the UK. With sound financial backing and a major capacity expansion, the search is on to find a true sales pioneer to join a team led by a formidable Board of heavyweight industry experience.  A sales ‘power house’ resource is being put together to add individual expertise. That will be you!

Your primary responsibility will be to build a new business pipeline and win contract deals with the known customer universe against a sales plan, ensuring accurate forecasting and budgeting sales.

You will be a rare combination of a proven Business Developer, able to connect with senior-level major corporate prospects, and yet also able to work with independent business owners. You will recognise the importance of meaningful account intelligence to maximise contact strategy across multiple functions. Comfortable with Contract negotiation, including pricing, managing lead times and pressured delivery dates, you’ll be an exceptional relationship builder who loves to win hearts and minds.

We are looking for a highly energetic, intellectually agile, commercially astute individual who has flair and passion for selling.  Someone who knows the right questions to ask and can interpret answers to ‘simplify the complex’ in a concise and compelling manner.

This organisation will equip you to succeed.  You will be financially rewarded beyond your expectations.  Imagine being part of a young company with a relentless pursuit to transform itself and double in size in the next two years and beyond.
