National Account Manager
Location: Home-based - access to Manchester HQ
To £50,000 + bonus, car allowance and benefits
Our client is a UK subsidiary of a European wide €50million novelty confectionery business in branded and licensed goods. It has the energy and pace of an SME, with a relentless ambition to raise its reputation and value in the next five years. Already an envious category player for over 20 years, the UK business enjoys revenues nearing £15m. The reality is that current scale represents only half of what can be achieved. With the right ‘sales firepower’, there is so much more success to be enjoyed and exploited within grocery retail, discounters, wholesalers as well high street channels.
We are looking for a commercial account manager with branded or private label FMCG experience. A hands-on working knowledge of National account customers in retail or wholesale channels; someone who is driven by their career success and who thrives in the spotlight, certainly not shy of real ownership and empowerment. We are looking for experience and skills typical of an NAE or Junior NAM ready to ‘step up’ - known for their determination to achieve strong results and stand out from the crowd.
