Our client is a £60m, family-owned international fine food business with over 70 years of an enviable reputation in the FMCG industry; above all a highly respected senior leadership team who care passionately about their people.
Adding to the gene pool of commercial experts this new role will play a unique part in leading a transformation by embedding true consumer marketing know-how to the current product marketing function. This is a busy team, influenced by constant NPD initiatives arising from trends and customer demand, on behalf of brand owners. A £15m fast-growing portfolio today, including three crown jewel brands, is now crying out for an entire repositioning and concerted consumer push to modernise and rejuvenate their nationwide appeal in grocery retail.
Your classical FMCG structured training and experience in consumer marketing roles will clearly mark you out as talented and passionate about consumerism in the branded food world, where innovation and invention are the norm. As leader of a team, you’ll be charged with the strategic 3-year brand plans and tactical marketing initiatives, NPD, as well as fully integrated trade, consumer PR, and digital communication programmes.
