We are looking for an experienced consumer goods industry Senior NAM/Controller who in their current role is held back by others or reached a ceiling yet determined to leverage their real skill and influence on a business that will step change their career immediately.
Our client is a UK subsidiary of a European wide €50million novelty confectionery business in branded, licensed, and own-label products. This is a leadership role and part of the top team, all with the core purpose of step-changing financial performance, attitudes, and behaviours of an SME, with a relentless ambition to raise its reputation and value in the next five years.
Already an envious category player for over 20 years, the UK business enjoys revenues nearing £15m. The reality is that current scale represents only half of what can be achieved. With the right ‘sales firepower’ at the helm, there is so much more success to be enjoyed and exploited within top grocery as well as discounters and high street retail channels.
We are looking for an outright sales professional, trained and mastered in the Customer agenda - JBP, negotiation, shopper activation and category development; someone who is ambitious and thrives in the spotlight and certainly not shy of real ownership and empowerment.
