National Account Manager - Tesco
Location: Home-based with frequent access to HQs; West Sussex & North M25
To £65,000 plus bonus + exec benefits
Despite impressive sales, our client is looking to leverage more from the power of their brands. This £60million branded food business is a wholly-owned subsidiary of a €12billion international market leading FMCG company headquartered outside of the UK. Fiercely ambitious, they want to capture more of the UK market and build even stronger brands, customer relationships, championing excellence throughout the category.
This is an opportunity for a National Account Manager with top 4 experience to take control of Tesco. Both brand AND private label are critical to the relationship and the aim is to champion even more growth in a truly accountable role.
Your FMCG sales/account management experience has instilled you with a concrete commercial awareness and the analytical ability to stay ahead of consumer trends. Your track record shows a high-grade classical training and best practice experience with a strong bias towards the grocery market.
As Customer Development Manager, you will be integral to the decisions and choices of the commercial agenda. Your day to day responsibilities will be those of a classic Account Manager, looking for fresh, added value opportunities and ways of bringing meaningful joint business plans to life.
You are commercially astute, understand the numbers and bring these skills to your creation of great customer plans. Not only do you have a real depth of structured account management knowledge gained from recognised experience in an FMCG sales career, but you have also built a network of contacts and a decent reputation within the buyer community of leading Grocers.
