As Head of Sales for our client, this is the first of its kind. A high profile leadership role and part of the senior management team, its core purpose is to step-change performance, attitudes and behaviours of a young SME with relentless ambition to double turnover and treble profits in the next 3-5 years.
Already an envious category challenger brand, this privately owned chilled food business enjoys revenues nearing £10m. The reality is that current revenue represents only half of what can be achieved. With the right ‘sales firepower’ at the helm, there is so much more to develop and exploit within Top 4 grocery as well as Foodservice channels. Now is the time for a surge in true sales capability.
To grasp new opportunities and lead the business in innovative directions we are looking for a skilled Sales Leader with know-how and strength of character to flourish in SME culture.
Your knowledge stems from a career in classical FMCG sales, preferably both Retail and Away From Home as your customer channel expertise. You are a pioneer of relationships with the UK’s majors. Board level exposure and extensive customer management experience are essential. You’ll be accountable for performance and the results of your sales team plus you will own the commercial strategy upon which all decisions are taken to make this company the success it deserves. Part of the Exec team, you will be a formidable voice and a strong influence in the strategic direction of the business.
